What People Are Saying

I have been a client of Rhonda Tudor for many years now. I was recommended to her thru my daughter and her husband who were clients. I was close to turning sixty at the time. I had been taking taekwondo for six years and had advanced past my 2nd degree black belt. I felt that while I wanted to continue exercising, taekwondo was getting too hard on my body.

Rhonda started slowly with me as she wanted to understand my fitness level, my fitness goals and any specific issues or difficulties that I had with my body, and how to work with them.

Rhonda has always taken into consideration my age and lifestyle. We constantly work on balance and core with most of the exercises she has me do. I find her very encouraging, and challenging, without pushing me. I feel safe trying anything Rhonda asks me to do, as I know that she continues to attend seminars and talk to experts to further her knowledge. I even still go to my workouts when I injure myself by pulling a muscle, etc. when I am out and about in the world. Rhonda knows how to work around my injury and recommends what I can do to recover quickly. I feel so fortunate to have Rhonda as my trainer. She is truly a professional, and takes her job very seriously.

When I first started going to Rhonda, I was in college. I missed working out as an athlete, so Rhonda helped me train competitively. Ten years later, I can’t imagine my physical and mental health being where it’s at without her. I travel a lot for work so Rhonda helps me stay balanced, have mental clarity, and continue to push myself. She has helped me feel strong as I transition into my 30s and operate at a higher performing level.

I have been working out with Rhonda for 25 years and it has been one of the best investments I have ever made. I say this because, at a fairly young age, I had a heart scare and subsequently had 3 stents placed in a main artery. Needless to say, it became crucial for me to maintain a healthy lifestyle. With the help of Rhonda and her incredible workout regimen, I have been able to keep my weight stable, my cholesterol levels excellent and my blood pressure low. All extremely important for heart health!

In addition, last year I fell and fractured my hand. I was in a cast for 4 weeks. After 8 weeks I was given the ok from my doctor to start upper body workouts again. In addition to my hand, the accident left my wrist and grip extremely weak. Rhonda knew exactly what to do and, equally important, what NOT to do. I could see improvement in the first couple weeks and after a couple months it felt fantastic.

As we age, trainers such as Rhonda can play an even more important role. It becomes vital that we have a trainer who is knowledgable about the aging body. Rhonda excels at this, focusing on mobility exercises, core exercises and stretching. These are all essential for baby boomers like myself. Always on the cutting edge, she regularly attends seminars to make sure she is up to date on all of the latest areas of fitness. I think it is so rare to find an individual who takes such pride in her work. Rhonda is a kind, generous and extremely motivating person who cares deeply about her clients. She is truly an expert in her field. She loves what she does and it shows! My body has never felt better and I am thrilled that, at my age, I am pain free and living life to the fullest. I would enthusiastically recommend Rhonda for anyone looking for an incredible trainer.

Aging and staying fit can be a challenge. As an A4M (American Academy of Anti-Aging) Board Certified Health Coach, I know the importance of exercise for maintaining heart health, metabolic health, brain health, a strong immune system, strength, flexibility and mobility. Let’s face it, though, as we age it gets harder to exercise and we are more prone to injury. Despite working my entire adult life, I was finding it harder to maintain my fitness levels the older I got.

I was introduced to Rhonda several years ago when a friend asked me to tag along to her personal training session. I had just turned fifty and would have described myself as being in good shape. I worked out routinely and consistently but was starting to notice my body working against me. My back hurt, not infrequently. My knees were starting to bother me after years of running and playing sports. Aches and pains one might chalk up to getting older, except that I knew better than to just accept and surrender to the aging process. I know we can extend the youthfulness of our bodies through proper exercise, nutrition, and lifestyle. What I didn’t understand until meeting Rhonda was the value a professional, highly-skilled, top personal trainer adds to developing and maintaining fitness…at any age.

At 56 I am in better shape than I was in my thirties or forties. I’m stronger, which defies the aging process and the natural tendency to lose muscle mass. One of the first adjustments Rhonda made to my work out was to focus on the posterior chain and making it stronger so I don’t succumb to back and knee troubles. She explained that after years of playing soccer and running track my muscles and supporting ligaments were out of balance. I needed to develop stronger glutes, hamstring, and back muscles to support my posture and structural integrity. I no longer do long cardio session. Rhonda’s HIIT (high intensity interval training) has increased my speed and endurance without risk of injury. In the past couple of years, I’ve taken up beach volleyball, not exactly a sport for a “boomer” like me. Rhonda trains me with exercises to improve my game--getting up and out of the sand, explosiveness, hitting power…and thanks to her, I can still wear a bikini on the court!

I would never be able to compete with women and men decades younger than myself on the volleyball court if I weren’t in the physical condition that I am after working out with Rhonda these past few years. Her skills and training methods apply to any age group and any level of fitness. My sixteen-year old son also works out with Rhonda to improve his weight training technique and overall sports conditioning. She helped correct mistakes he was making in the gym that over time would lead to injury.

Exercise is a vital part to our overall health. People who don’t exercise suffer the health consequences. But people who don’t exercise correctly also suffer. You need an expert. Rhonda is an expert personal trainer. She offers a level of dedication, organization, and knowledge far superior to other personal trainers. Just when I think I’ve peaked; she takes me to a new level of my personal best. Hiring a personal trainer is an investment in your health and well-being. Rhonda offers huge ROI – return on investment. The older I get the more I realize that health is my most valuable resource. I’m so grateful to have found Rhonda to protect and strengthen that resource.

I have been working out with Rhonda for over 30 long years.

Not having been athletic all my life, I sought her out to try and get in shape and lose some weight after having my second daughter. To my great surprise, my body took on a transformation and gave me strength I never knew I had.

From gym to gym, I followed Rhonda through the years, in my lifetime commitment to fitness. Being a dentist of 31 years has left me with chronic back, neck, and shoulder pain. Rhonda’s astute understanding of the body, anatomy, and customized training has rehabilitated me, allowing me to do the dentistry I love. I plan and hope to practice as long as my body allows me and Rhonda is the key factor.

She studies and stays on top of her expertise. Of course there are many times I’d like to sleep in or skip a session but she pushes me, and at the end, I am truly grateful.

I owe my energy, fitness, and ability to work, to Rhonda!

I am much over 50 years old (I stopped counting about then, as it is now all about biological age), and started working out for the first time in my life a couple years ago. I played a lot of sports when younger and in combination with genetic gifts from my parents, my body has survived the last 30+ years without working out. It’s a different game after 50 and aging occurs more rapidly. In order to stem that aging tide, I realized that I needed to start moving my body again, like we naturally do when we’re younger. My wife, who is quite a specimen as she has always taken care of her body by working out and eating well, kindly encouraged these thoughts and eased me into a Rhonda introduction.

Rhonda has been a real gift. She brings a real functional knowledge of anatomy, physiology, optimal mechanics of bodily movement and how this varies with age to her training workout of her clients. I am a physician and knew that my joints, etcetera needed quite a bit of TLC and strengthening before they were pushed further. She already knew this and shepherded me through this maze with confidence. Rhonda has a wealth of options for achieving similar workouts of various muscle groups and is constantly varying the workout so that boredom doesn’t set in. I’ve never enjoyed working out, but the morning hour goes by quickly and painlessly.

I still feel young and do love being able to do most things that I used to do including beach volleyball and tossing the football around with our grown kids. I want to be able to do these things as long as I am able. During this recent quarantine and missing Rhonda, I haven’t been working out as much as before, even though we have a home gym in our garage. I need that commitment of our scheduled appointment in the morning and she always greets me with that great, interested, enthusiastic smile.

Whatever mindset you might be coming from, Rhonda will help your body keep up.

My wife and I have been training with Rhonda 2 to 3 times a week for approximately 20 years. For starters, Rhonda is always on time, prepared and ready to go with routines that target specific muscle groups and since we workout on back to back days they are designed to maximize specific areas and minimize overlap. Everyone always talks about how important it is to have a healthy “Core” but few deliver. Occasionally I will workout with friends or family at other gyms and I’m complimented on how strong my “Core” actually is.  I’ve heard this more than once so I have to believe it is true.

I have essentially no aches and pains and at 59 with a profession that makes me contort in odd positions I can only say it is due to the great work Rhonda has done in keeping my body healthy and in shape. The workouts start easily enough but usually end with me on all fours dripping sweat and gasping for air. She takes her profession seriously whether you are looking for rehabilitation from an injury or, like me, you are just trying to stay in the game a little longer. If you are looking for a good trainer then you don’t need to look any further. She’s right here!
